Terms of Service
Last updated September 29, 2026
1. About Origo
Origo Tickets is a technology platform and ticketing intermediary that lets organizers sell tickets to their events. Each organizer is the seller, merchant of record and provider of its event.
2. Other documents
Buying tickets is also governed by the Terms of Purchase and the Refund & Cancellation Policy; selling by the Organizer Agreement; personal data by the Privacy Policy.
3. Your account
Give accurate information, keep your password safe and be old enough to enter into a contract in your country. An account is either a fan or an organizer account at a time.
4. Payments
Paid tickets are charged directly on the organizer's own Stripe account. Origo receives its service fee automatically on each sale and holds it until 72 hours after the event ends. Origo does not hold or pay out ticket revenue.
5. Cancellations and refunds
If an event is cancelled, buyers are refunded 100% automatically, service fee included. If the date changes, buyers can ask for a full refund within 7 days of the notice. Other refunds follow each event's refund policy, and the service fee isn't returned. Details are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5A. Taxes
Organizers are responsible for taxes on their ticket revenue, local entertainment taxes, permits and CFDI invoices for tickets. Origo's service fee includes IVA and Origo invoices it on request.
6. Tickets
Tickets live in the app with a QR code, are issued only after payment is confirmed, and can be transferred only through Origo. Reselling tickets outside Origo is prohibited.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the platform: no fraud, fake events, scraping, spam or attempts to access other people's data. Origo may suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Liability
Organizers are responsible for their events. To the extent permitted by law, Origo is not liable for an event's content, quality, cancellation or changes. Your consumer rights, including before Profeco, are not limited.
9. Changes and notices
Origo notifies changes to these terms by email or in the app. Organizers must accept changes to the Organizer Agreement again before selling more paid tickets.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico; courts of Mexico City. Questions: contact Origo support.
